In a one and half month long study, researchers asked about 30 healthy men to stuff themselves with a diet containing 30% more calories and 50% more fat. At the end of six weeks, the first group gained weight about 6 pounds and developed insulin resistance and larded muscles with new fat cells. The ones with mid morning exercise rotuine, also gained weight about 3 pounds each and also developed insulin problem and the last group who opted early morning or before breakfast exercising routine has gained no weight and showed up with healthy insulin levels. This shows that early morning exercise prevents weight gain and if you eat a healthy and balanced diet, it will help in weight loss as well.
